Personal Information

Secure Datacom Inc makes a commitment to you as one of its customers, partners or affiliates to protect your personal information. Our intent is to inform you how your personal information will be gathered, tracked and used, and to offer you choices regarding what we do with your personal information.

We request personal information when, among other things, you place an order, register a product, request a service, answer a survey, enter a contest, correspond with us or engage in certain activities on our Web site.

If you submit an order with us, we will ask you for information necessary to complete the transaction, such as your name, address, credit card number or other credit information. If you request technical support, whether by e-mail, telephone or online, we will ask you for information necessary to resolve your issue, such as your name, address, information about your computer hardware and software and the nature of the problem you are experiencing.

You will make the decision whether to proceed with any such activity where we request your disclosure of personal information. Should you decide not to provide us with the requested personal information, however, we may not be able to complete the contemplated activity.

We will use your personal information to provide you, among other things, with information about product upgrades, new products, services, information security threats and other communications which we deem relevant to your business.

From time to time, we may also provide your information to select business partners in order to communicate to you information about products or services that they deem relevant to your business. If you prefer that we not provide your personal information to our business partners, you may let us know using one of the methods set forth below.

Secure Datacom also retains independent contractors to provide services for us. These contractors may, among other things, be used to sell products, handle order processing or provide technical support. We require that these contractors keep the personal information of customers, partners and affiliates secure and confidential. We also require that these contractors use personal information only in connection with their authorized work for Secure Datacom.

Please be aware that in certain instances, Secure Datacom may be compelled by government or other legal process to disclose your personal information. In such instance, Secure Datacom will make a good faith effort to contact you prior to disclosing your personal information pursuant to such legal process.

Opt-Out Rights

Secure Datacom provides a number of ways for you to “opt out” of receiving communications from us or allowing us to provide your personal information to our business partners. Typically, we will offer you this choice at the time you initially give us your personal information, although you may at any time let us know of your desire to opt out of any further communications.

If you are on a Secure Datacom Web page that requests personal information but does not offer you communication choices, or you would like to change your preferences regarding our use of personal information that you have previously provided to us, please use one of the methods set forth below.

You may also opt out of any specific e-mail communications from us simply by replying to our e-mail, and placing the word “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject field.

Security of Personal Information

We have taken security measures, consistent with generally accepted U.S. and international information practices, to protect your personal information. These measures include technical and procedural steps to protect your data from misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, loss, alteration or destruction. Credit card information is transmitted using secure socket layer (“SSL”) encryption or comparable security procedure.
